About Ardnavally:

Ardnavally Outdoor Scout Centre was founded in 1971, and since then has proven very popular with various different organisations – both locally and nationally.

The site is located in the leafy suburbs of Belfast within easy reach of local airports and ferry terminals., and covers approximately 10 acres with two multi-purpose buildings and numerous campsites located in a well-established woodland, giving campers a secluded experience.

Ardnavally Outdoor Scout Centre is owned by the Lagan District Scout Council and run by the Ardnavally Management Committee.

About Lagan District Scouts:

Situated within Belfast, Lagan District facilitates Groups within the areas of: Stranmillis, Castlereagh, Malone, Newtownbreda, Ormeau, Rosetta, Saintfield Road, Finaghy, and Shaws Bridge.

One out of four Districts within Belfast County; Lagan District provides the opportunity to over 1000 young people to enjoy new adventures; new experiences; the opportunity to interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
