Ardnavally Scout Centre was founded in 1971 and since then has proven very popular with many different organisations. The site is located in the leafy suburbs of Belfast within easy reach of local airports and ferry terminals.

The site covers approximately 10 acres with numerous campsites located in a well established woodland giving campers a secluded experience. The site is ideal for both weekend and district camps with plenty of space available. There is also a separate shower block with both male, female and leaders' showers and toilets.

Most sites have traditional ground fires with altar fires available on request. There is also a well stocked wood pile with enough wood for any zealous scouter.

On site there are two buildings for hire; the Pathfinder which is an ideal base for a small group as it is completely self contained with a kitchen, male and female toilets and a small hall, and the larger BP Chalet with a new kitchen, male and female toilets, lounge and large hall.

The site nestles beside the Lagan Valley Regional Park and provides a great base for many activities such as orienteering, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing and kayaking. It has access to the National Cycle Network, the Lagan River with nearby whitewater run and three parks to name a few.

Why not take a look around the site to see what it has to offer.

We can also offer Duke of Edinburgh Residentials for those interested.
